I love brown because so many wonderful things are brown in colour...
I am a red Chow Chow but my coat is more brown than red. Everyone sees me as a brown Chow Chow.
I love trees...their brown branches, trunks and roots. Sniffing them is always fun, and I love to pee on them.
My friend Harry
My friend Ichigo...he is brown too isn't he?
Cookie, the red/brown Chow Chow
Our brown couch
Have you got a favourite item in brown?

Pay it Forward once more
I received Aki and Poopie's Pay It Forward parcel a while back and Mummy and I would like to say a big thank you to you guys!
I totally enjoyed the treats you gave me. Mummy and Daddy loved the dried mango too. How did you know they love mangoes, especially those from the Philippines?! There were also cute doggy fridge magnet and keychain which will always remind us of you!
Would you like to join in for Pay It Forward? Here are the rules. "The exchange focuses on doing an act of kindness without expecting anything in return other than that the recipient will, in their turn, pass the kindness along and 'pay it forward' in their own way. This is how it works... We are going to agree to send something fun, inspiring or uplifting to the first 3 blog owners who post a comment on this entry. In turn you will then post about this on your blog, link to us, then send something to the first three people who sign up to play along through your blog. There are no cost restraints, BUT don't go crazy! The little something you send can be something you made, bought, were given or found. No biggie, just a gift that will make the person smile. Maybe something unique from where you live? And, remember that kindness don't have to involve money; there are untold ways to help others every single day, everywhere you go - just look around." SO PAY IT FORWARD...

True Colours Thursday: Blue
True Colour Thursday this week is Blue. I missed last week's Silver cos Mummy was just too busy to help me blog about it. Anyway, I am very happy that I get to blog about my favourite colour blue!
My blue Mickey Mouse fleece blanket. Mummy got it for me to sleep on cos I don't have a bed and she hopes the blanket helps to keep me warm at night. But I usually chew on it instead.
My blue jersey. One of the two doggy shirts that my parents got for me in an attempt to cover my badly-shaven body.
Mummy's blue shorts
My blue leash.
My blue chew toy. Not my top favourite but it'll do when I'm tired of my stuffies.
That's all the blue I've got for now. And oh, does my blue tongue count?

The naughtiest boy is Chow Chow
Well, I blame it on the wacky and insanely hot and hazy weather. I did a couple of not so nice things in the house and Mummy is not too pleased.
I did a bit of gardening by pulling out some of the leaves from the new pomenagrate plant. Mummy calls it destroying the plant.
I was missing Mummy and I wanna get her attention so I grabbed her blouse from the laundry basket and chew on it. I think the outcome was quite creative. And hey, the holes would definitely help Mummy feel cooler when she wears the blouse. She should thank me and not dump the blouse into the rubbish bin.
Humans are never grateful or appreciative of our doggy efforts. Sometimes she likes to declare "the naughtiest dog is my Chow Chow!" Since when did proactivity and initiative become naughty?!

Happy Valentine
Aki and Poopie sent me a lovely Valentine's Day card! It's so pretty, thank you very much guys! I'm wishing all my doggy friends a beautiful Valentine's week!
My Valentine's Day was spent at the dog park, playing with my doggy friends! I met Romeo the handsome sheltie again and his generous Mummy gave us a couple of DVDs on canine behaviour! I just hope those stuff teach my parents how to treat me like a king and not the other way round!
I did not get any Valentine gift from my parents but they are thinking of getting me some nice, nourishing shampoo for me as a make up since my current puppy shampoo is finishing anyway. Frankly, I hope they'd just forget the whole thing about bathing me.

Chow Chow's Lion Dance
First of all, I'm so sorry I haven't been blogging much recently. As you know, Mummy is now back at work and she can't really find time to update my blog due to her crazy working hours and Daddy hogging the computer to play his game.
Nevertheless, Mummy just uploaded a video of me last month - the day I graduated from Obedience class. My parents were so happy, they decided to drop by the dog park near my "school" to reward me.
And here am I playing with a new friend called Millie. Millie's sister is going to be vet next year after she finishes school. How lucky to have a vet for a family member! Millie's daddy was very amused when he saw me and my crew cut coat. And when I pranced around in the park, he laughed and said I'm doing a lion dance - very apt for Chinese New Year.

Honest Scrap award
Huskee and Hershey were very kind to give me the Honest Weblog award!
"When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is real. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have 7 friends. Show the 7 random victims’ names and links and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Weblog”. Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on!"
Are you ready for my list?
1. Food is the most important thing to me. I listen to whoever holds the food. You can be my master just by feeding me.
2. I hate the fur conditioner spray that my parents use on me. It stinks and irks me no end.
3. Sometimes, I thought that little kids are dogs. I get all excited and wanna rush over to play with them.
4. I love to sniff and eat whatever edible stuff I can find on my walks.
5. I hate car rides. Unless I'm in the driver's seat. Maybe.
6. I love my raw diet, but I love cooked food even more.
7. I pulled out the leaves from the new potted plant in the balcony, just because I felt like it.
8. I love to shred paper, tissues and napkins.
9. I go berserk whenever I goes to my grandparents' house. The smell of food just drives me nuts.
10. I sit whenever I wanna beg for food.
Now, Dodo the sausage dog, Eduardo the snuggle puggle, Homer the golden retriever, Honey the great dane, Mango the maltese kiddo, Paco and Milo and Princess Isis - it's your turn to share with us your honest scrap!

I passed my test!
Miracles do happen!
I am very happy to announce that I have passed my obedience training test!
I was the only doggie in the class who was given a second chance to redo the down-stay command cos during the test, I was distracted by the doggy next to me and got up without my Mummy's permission. The judges thought they should give me a second chance since I completed and passed all the other commands except for this one. Phew!
My parents were really happy and proud of me. Chow Chows are never easy to train and to think that I can pass the obedience test in my first sitting, it's a cause for celebration!
Two dogs topped my class - a lhaso alpo named Piggy (she's really good cos this was her first test and she topped the class!) and a mini schnauzer named Hugo (who failed in his first test a few years ago and has returned for his refresher class!).
I'm so glad I don't have to go for my weekly classes to do all the silly commands and trainings anymore. But I sure do miss my doggy classmates. There's Happy the golden retriever whom I love to play with, Muffin the cross breed who was always a little shy around me, Coffee the sheltie pup who is ultra cute and many others who made the classes a bit more bearable for me.
Byebye my doggy classmates! Please do say hi and sniff my butt if our path ever cross again!

True Colour Thursday: Orange
An orange a day keeps the vet away!
True Colour Thursday this week is the good old vibrant happy colour of Orange.
I didn't get to see many oranges around. Just these...
The orange wall at my grandparents' place.
And mandarin oranges that's full of vitamin C!
Mummy's been really busy ever since she started work and that is why she couldn't help me blog as often as we used to. But I know she will still try her best. Just like how she will drag herself out of bed at 6am every morning before the orange sun is up just so she could walk me before she heads out for work.
That's all for now! I'm gonna announce a great news in my next entry....stay tuned!

Fifth File Meme
I've been tagged by Aki to do the fifth file meme and I found this:
Most of you have found pictures of yourselves when you were a puppy but for me I found a picture of my Mummy when she was a kid. It's a picture taken in 1982, during Mummy's 4th birthday party. Can you guess which little girl is Mummy? She is the silly-looking one in the polka-dot dress! Time really flies! The kids in the pictures are Mummy's cousins and they are all married and have kids of their own, except for Mummy. She is feeling the pressure now, especially during Chinese New Year gatherings!
Anyway, my Mummy is finally going back to work. In fact, she is going back to the big bad world of advertising and is starting work tomorrow!
I hope I won't feel too lonely in the house all by myself.
It's now time to pass on this tag to five more bloggers so here are the rules:
Open a document or file folder, click on the fifth folder and then the fifth photo. Post the photo and describe it. Then tag 5 other bloggers.
I'd like to pass this tag to:
1. Romeo Sangiovese
2. Pipa
3. Princess Isis
4. Mango the Maltese Kiddo
5. Thor
Show me your pictures! Have fun!
