Rest In Peace, Paw Paw

Mummy came across Martha Stewart's blog entry on her Chow Chow Paw Paw, when she was surfing the Web for info on Chow Chow's fur growth (I'll fill you in on why she is doing this in a later post).

http://www.themarthablog.com/2008/04/paw-paw-i-will-miss-him.html

It was a very sad but sweet tribute to Paw Paw who passed away on April 12 this year, the day that I was born coincidentally.

Mummy was crying and that silly woman started to think of the day when I die! So morbid! But I guess it's sad news like that that reminds the humans to love us doggies more and cherish our time together.

May Paw Paw rest in peace and run free with the other happy doggies at the Rainbow Bridge.

In case you are too lazy to check out Martha Stewart's entry, here are some pictures of Paw Paw in his final moments.

One week before Paw Paw passed away, in his final smile.

Last picture with his siblings.

He didn't want to eat or dream....just needed to sleep.

Gee.. it's so sad...
My mom is dreading the day where I (Huskee) will leave her. Just the thought of it makes her want to kill herself.
You are right, this is why we should treasure our time together even more!

What a beautiful pup Paw Paw was. Mom was really sad when she lost her dear pup, T-man. The pain was almost unbearable. But now she has me, Teddy, and life goes on, because the heart is capable of loving again!!

Thanks for sharing the sad news about Paw Paw, Martha Stewart should be very touching.
Rest in peace, Paw Paw.
My mom lost my brother Ringo the Maltese when he was a month shy of his 15th barkday. My mom cried shamelessly from the Vet's office to the parking lot, in the car , at home, at work until now she still leaks when thinking of Ringo.

Aww. That is so incredibly sad! Mummy does the same thing. She'll think all these stupid morbid thoughts and start tearing and hugging me. When she watched 10 Promises to My Dog, I was DRENCHED. She was devastated when Uncle Lester left her over 2 years ago and she still misses him. She always says how nice it'll be if the both of us could have played together.

Paw Paw was such a gorgeous dog. This is such a sad post. It just makes me wanna cry to see that picture of him in the bag & his other two sibling gather around to sniff it. I think they knew he was gone.

Have a wonderful Happy New Year!
