I've just finished ready Marley & Me and I totally love it! This book is highly recommended for everyone, not just dog lovers. All dog-owners will be able to identify with the author and you will see some attributes of your dog in Marley, the canine hero in the based on true-life story. The leash tugging and animal chasing antics of Marley is pretty similar to that of Chow Chow's. Sometimes I feel that the book is talking about me and my dog!
The Marley & Me story is so successful that the movie version has been produced! Starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, this family comedy is a must-watch on my list! I bet I will shed buckets, just like I did when I read the book. The story is funny and touching, with valuable life lessons and heartwarming moments between owner and dog.
Do read the book and catch the movie once it hits the big screen!
