True Colour Thursday: Pink

It's Thursday again, time really flies! This week's colour for True Colour Thursday is PINK, and boy do I have lots of pink stuff at home. I'm not too particularly fond of pink cos it is such a girlie colour. But my Mummy is quite a girlie girl and sometimes I bet she wishes I was a girl so that she could buy me lots of the pink stuff that she saw when she was shopping.

Here's my pink list:

Mummy's mobile phone. It emits sounds and I'm always surprised to hear it.

Cherry blossoms and peonies. A must-have during Chinese New Year.

Mummy dressed in pink and carrying a pink baby. I got a sniff of the baby's feet and it smell like talcum powder.

Mummy's pink slippers. She needs to wear that cos her skin is sensitive to my fur and saliva on the floor. I tried countless times to bite her slippers cos they look like my stuffies but Mummy always rescue them before I can chew off the ears or eyes.

My old bath towel. This is the only pink item I own. I think it is better off being a chew toy for me.

Last but not least, pink tiger lilies. Daddy got them hoping that their strong fragrance can mask my Chow odour when the guests come to our house. I didn't think it was useful cos I don't even have dog odour in the first place!

That's all the pink from me this week!

Pay It Forward Again

I've received my second Pay It Forward gift from Huskee and Hershey! They are really generous cos they sent me three huge doggie treats!

Which one should I eat first?

Mummy fed me the Crispy Sticks and I just love it! Thanks Huskee and Hershey for making my day even more wonderful!

Would you like to join in for Pay It Forward? Here are the rules. "The exchange focuses on doing an act of kindness without expecting anything in return other than that the recipient will, in their turn, pass the kindness along and 'pay it forward' in their own way. This is how it works... We are going to agree to send something fun, inspiring or uplifting to the first 3 blog owners who post a comment on this entry. In turn you will then post about this on your blog, link to us, then send something to the first three people who sign up to play along through your blog. There are no cost restraints, BUT don't go crazy! The little something you send can be something you made, bought, were given or found. No biggie, just a gift that will make the person smile. Maybe something unique from where you live? And, remember that kindness don't have to involve money; there are untold ways to help others every single day, everywhere you go - just look around." SO PAY IT FORWARD...

Happy Moo Year!

Have a pawesome Moo year everyone! May the year of the Ox-picious Ox brings you plenty of wealth and health, joy, love, peace and treats!

The days leading to Chinese New Year were the best! Daddy took leave and brought me to the beach! Then my parents gave me the enviable job of supervising them while they clean the house. I didn't want to be too strict a supervisor, so I just let them do what they do while I drift off to dreamland....hehehehhe....

I also got to go to Granddad's place every often, I even went there twice in a day. It was really happening in the house cos everyone was busy cooking and taking out food and eating! I didn't get any of the human food, but at least Uncle Phil took pity on me and gave me a small piece of BBQ pork!

After the human's reunion din din, Mummy and Daddy brought me, together with Aunt TR and Aunt Coco to the dog park! To clarify, Aunt TR is Daddy's elder human sissy who flies back from Hong Kong for the Chinese New Year; whilst Aunt Coco is my Daddy's furry sissy who barks at me when I get too close to her. Now, back to the dog park. As expected, there weren't any doggies at the park cos it was New Year's eve and everyone is busy having their face stuffed at home. BUT we saw a cream Chow Chow when we approached the dog park! What are the chances?! I think the cream Chow Chow is called Chow Chow too! BOL! We chased and run and played bitey face - Chow version! Too bad, Mummy didn't have the camera with her, or else I could have shown you how much fun we had!

We had a stroll in the park after the dog run and Aunt Coco was so out-of-breath trying to catch up with us. She really needs to exercise more!

On the first day of Chinese New Year, my parents left me in Granddad's garden while they went off for lunch to celebrate Granddad's birthday. I was just minding my own business in the garden when some humans stopped to stare at me when they passed by the front gate of the house. Some of them even took out their cameras and took pictures of me. My humans were back very soon and they were quite worried what could have happened to me when they saw several people standing in their front gate looking in. They were relieved to see me, looking like my usual handsome self in the car porch, posing for pictures. BOL!

The second day of the new year was the best! Mummy invited her relatives to our house since they have not been to our house ever since my parents moved in more than a year ago. I love having guests in the house! I was so busy walking up and down and making sure everyone is comfortable and had their share of petting my magnificent mane and fussing over me. Everyone thinks I'm really adorable and fine-looking! Grandma was really nice as she fed me some raw fish and meat while she sliced the food for the steamboat dinner. Again, Mummy forgot (or was it too lazy) to take pictures of my adoring guests!

Anyway, enough of the long post! Here are some pictures to share. I'm glad mummy didn't forgot the use of her camera totally!

Cherry blossoms and pink peonies signify Spring - a time for new beginnings. Have a great start to the year, everyone!

Day out at the beach

Mummy and Daddy finally brought me to the beach for some swimming! I've never swim before but I could get used to it! It's lots of fun, to be honest, and the soft sand is just as lovely to play in as the mud in the park.

Here's a video of me frolicking on the beach. We were at Tanjong Beach in Sentosa island where the water and sand is much cleaner than the East Coast beach.

Such soft, white sand...

Initially I was scared of the waves, even though they were lapping gently onto the shore.

I met a dog called Stanley, who just finished swimming. Look at how wet he is!

Daddy was encouraging me to go into the water. Luckily they didn't dragged me in cos they wanted me to go into the water on my own accord and enjoy the entire experience.

Just like mud, only cleaner and approved by my parents!

Nice cool sand...

Mummy and me

Watch out! Here I come!

A morning run at the beach, how cool is that?!

Do I look sexy in my beach shot?

Playing in the water with Daddy

I love to splash around and lick the sea water. But it's so salty...yucks!

I can see tiny fishes in the water!

The sea stretches long and far...I wonder what's on the other side?

Exploring, sniffing, and looking for anything edible.

I got deeper into the sea after I see my parents standing in the sea with the water level at their knee. If they can go in this far, it should be safe!

There's a Jack Russell Terrier at the beach too. He could swim really well!

He could swim even faster than his owner!

He's not too keen to teach me swimming though.

A Golden Retriever was swimming too!

I jumped in to join him! But he kept growling at me.

There's another sheltie too. But he is kinda shy.

We became friends pretty soon and he loves to play bitey face with me!

As for Prince, the Golden Retriever, I think he wasn't too keen to swim but his owner wanted him to. Poor guy!

We left the beach pretty soon after the battery in Mummy's camera went dead. The weather was getting hotter too, so we quickly retreated into the car and drove off to Granddad's house for another shower in the garden!

I want to go to the beach again, very soon!

True Colour Thursday: Turquoise

I am taking part in True Colour Thurdays and the colour for this week is TURQUOISE!

These are the TURQUOISE that I can find so far:

Daddy's spectacle cleaning cloth

Shopping bags

Mummy's new ring

Mummy's crinkly old skirt

Daddy too-small-to-fit shirt

A bottle of nail polish remover

The box that hides Mummy's engagement ring

Mummy's sweater

Phew! It wasn't easy to find those Turquoise in my house. But I must say the shade does grow on me. Maybe I should pester Mummy to get me a TURQUOISE collar and leash someday. I think it's very much my colour!

Please sign my guestbook!
